Re: Public Hearing, New Bern, NC on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006
Attached is a press release from the House Select Committee on Complementary and Alternative Medicine. The public hearing we’ve been waiting for in eastern NC has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Craven Community College in New Bern.
If anyone can attend please let me know right away. If you know anyone in eastern NC that may be able to attend please let me know.
According to the press release: The public is invited to address the House Select Committee on Complementary and Alternative Medicine during a public hearing in New Bern, North Carolina. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 27, 2006, in the Orringer Auditorium at Craven Community College. There will be two opportunities for interested persons to participate, a morning session from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm or an evening session from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.
The Committee Chair, Representative Earline W. Parmon invites traditional health care practitioners, alternative health care practitioners, consumers of complementary and alternative healthcare services, and members of the public with interest in these issues to attend.
